The samples collection "wood species" contains 26 samples of natural European wood species.
Alder, ash, beech, birch, cherry, european chestnut, common hornbeam, douglas-fir, elm, false acacia, horse chestnut, larch, lime, maple, pear, pine, european plane, plum tree, poplar, oak, silver fir, spruce, yew, walnut, weymouth pine, wild service tree.

The samples' size is 74 x 105 x 18 mm. They are presented in a solid box made from maple wood (size 18.5 x 27.5 x 8.5 cm). The name of the wood species is imprinted in English and German on each sample and the samples have been left untreated to keep their natural condition.

The samples collection is accompanied by a booklet in which the origin of the wood species and properties and fields of application are described.
