Flame-resistant plywood



Description
A plywood made of lightweight Ceiba-wood specially developed for shipbuilding. Flame-resistance is achieved by an impregnation with special salts. A modified variant is available for coachwork.

The material can be provided as a sound-insulating sandwich panel with a central layer of cork (2-10mm) or a heavyweight matting. Depending upon construction, sound-insulation levels of between 28 and 37 dB can be achieved.

A variety of ready-to-install building elements can be produced. The following surface finishes are possible:

- Genuine wood veneer
- Textile
- Foil
- Priming film
